Today I have a new product review: CoverGirl Clean Whipped Foundation
I also have a Youtube Tutorial using this foundation - Natural Makeup - Everyday Makeup (Foundation Application)
I received this product from CoverGirl to do this review. However, my opinion is based on my own personal experience with the product/service and it will never be influenced by a company.
Pink Orchid Makeup's Star Rating: **** 4 Stars
PROS: Lightweight, Does not break me up, Natural, Easy to blend, Great for dry/combination skin
CONS: Satin finish (Not recommended for oily skin), Medium Coverage, 6 hour wear
I have been using this foundation for the past 2 weeks. My first impression with this foundation is: Love it! it is great for my skin type (Dry/Combination). I love that it gives a beautiful satin finish. It is also very light. I feel I have no foundation on even when I apply a second layer.
This foundation retails for $6.49 to $8.99 depending on where you get it from. It comes in a glass jar container and it contains 18 mL (0.6 FL OZ Liq.)
As far as the coverage, it is definitely a medium coverage. So if you are looking for a full coverage foundation this is not for you. Even with a medium coverage, I feel it covers pretty well. Also, it feels amazing on the skin.
As far as the application, it glides on so smoothly and blends beautifully. It is not very long lasting, it lasts about 6 hours for me. However, I think this is great for a medium coverage foundation.
My only complaint is that I prefer foundations that come with a pump. Also, I got a lighter color than my skin tone (Color 320). I should have chosen the next color (But I fixed it with bronzer).
Overall, I would re-purchase and I do recommend this foundation (Again only for dry/combination and normal skin).
